I took advantage of the nice warm weekend weather and made some repotting merry go around with my cacti and succulents. I was also trying to give some new cuttings Stush gave me a new home...funny thing is at the end of the day, I forgot about them Hilarious! Will just have to get them in one of the other pots later Big Grin

So far here is what I have done:

Repotted afterwards: made use of my old terracotta basins that were part of a solar fountain in their previous life. Requested hubby to drill more holes on them..I still need one more little basin, I remembered I broke one before oops! Then I also switched around some of the cacti that used to be at the other tiered plastic container, and re-arranged again the square clay planter..my cacti in this planter must be getting annoyed with me Big Grin ..I have been disturbing them a lot..Had to chop a few inches off one of the columnar cacti..has some bad rotting at the base..so still waiting for it to callus a bit before I stick it at the back of the square planter again.

Still have some more repotting to do..but will wait for this incoming cold weather to pass by....we will still be in the 70's today, but tomorrow dropping back to high 50's during the day and 38's at night..they say we will have another windy event and snowy weather in the Sierra Nevadas..tsk tsk..seems like old man winter came in like a lamb and is promising to roar out like a lion.

Looks good. I really like the one that has multiple planting pockets. Thumbs up
I garden for the pollinators.

It is a little disheartening to see when one of my columnar-like cacti keeps getting rotten at the base Sad So just had to keep chopping off the awful part..now down to this small one...it was that last soaking week long storms we had two weeks ago that made it buckle again.

At least it seems to be a fighter..calluses easily after being chopped off..I hope this is the last of it! Rolling my eyes.

The other bigger cacti is also showing some rotting, but seems to be recovering much better, but the scarring is so visible..

I think I will try and repot to its own smaller container, making it an inner pot within the bigger one, so it will not hold too much water.
