Yesterday I got my Region 15 Newsletter through email, and Sutton's had a full page color ad. They have some gorgeous beauties there, including one SDB "REDDY FREDDY." It's a deeper pink with a red thumbprint spot, and white beards! Absolutely adorable!

Anyway, I went to their website and they don't have their 2012's on there yet, so I emailed Mike Sutton, and he responded last night that they're having them posted by someone else, and hopefully very soon.

He said they are mailing their catalogs next week, and if anyone would like to receive one I think you should do the "Contact Us" on the website and request one. I think they'll just send you one without charge.

I can't wait, I got their following new intros last year, and I'm hoping they all bloom so I can see them. My "scaled back" wish list is already at over 25, and I haven't seen all the catalogs yet. I can find about 10 new spots for iris. I may as well get out the sovel and start the new bed. Maybe I should go back to work so I don't have time to look at all these "gotta have" iris. I am beyond help!

No, I think you should start digging! Gardening is great for us retired folks. I'm now up to about 375 irises and over 400 daylilies -- and counting! Of course, I can't keep up with anything, but who cares. At least I have big dreams! And I'm starting daylily hybridizing now, going to try for little toothy mini's and small's!

I think I got four or five new reblooming intros from Sutton's last year, and I went for the fall/winter rebloomers. I know I got EDGE OF THE WORLD, RIM OR FIRE, DUPLICATION and TWIN CITIES, and it seems like I got one more but I can't remember it at this moment. Oh yes, I think it is COLD CREEK. And hopefully with my knee surgery behind me now I'll be able to keep up with my iris beds this year... hope hope!

Ah, great -- I just checked, and they've posted the Spring 2012 Region 15 Newsletter on their website, so here is the link. The Sutton's ad is the next-to-last page. Enjoy!

Betty, I've tried to download the PDF file 3 times, and seems to get stuck after the first page, so I guess I'll have to wait for the catalog.

I'm sorry, Tom, but I don't know how to help. I'm pretty computer illiterate, and I had to wait until it was posted on the Region 15 website and then post the link and that's the only way I know how to get it, other than through the email they sent me. Gee, that's a thought -- I wonder if I were to forward it on to your email... if you want to pursue this, tree-mail me and give me your email address and I'll forward it on to you as the attachment to their email.

I have tried and failed as well. I even went directly to their website without using your link and it did not work for me. Sticks me at page one just like Tom.
