Those are really nice fans, you lucky gal. Nice selections too.
Love your kitties, and the names are so suitable for them. I asked that
my orders be sent in May and first of June. As warm as it has been, I
think I should have stated an earlier date. You're gonna have so
much fun come bloom time.

You have your work cut out for you Green Grin!

Last week I helped James Hall plant all of the daylilies he got. He buys numerous collections every year and drives down to South Florida to pick them up. It took us 4 days to plant them all. The collections he got were Trimmer, Floyd Cove - fall full form, fall mini, spring full form, and butterfly, Frank Smith fall and spring (or should I say Pete Harry), Lambertson, some from the Salter's, and we had planted Karol Emmerich's the week before. He will be going to Tommy Maddox's this weekend to pick up the ones he ordered from him and those I will help plant next week. I'm not sure how many he got from him.

WOW -- doesn't it feel like Christmas around here? Fantastic daylilies, Dot! Really beautiful fans! But I don't envy your having to plant all of them! And I think I have one or two orders coming this week and also next week too... Spring is about here!

And Michele, you must be absolutely INVALUABLE to James Hall! What a great helper you are!!! Did he get any of Elizabeth Salter's smalls, or just the large ones of Jeff's? There's one new one of hers that I would absolutely love to get!

I'm not sure which ones he got. Those are the only ones I didn't make the name tags for and I can't remember what they were; I'll have to look and see. I know he got the patterned one of Jeff's ( Cosmic Blast), but I can't remember the others. I wish they'd get their website updated. They said they were waiting for the registrations to be completed before they put them on the website.
Which one of her new ones are you looking at?

I don't know if I'm invaluable or not; he's 76 and can run circles around me some days Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Dot, your plants are great and I'm really jealous of all the fantastic ones you got. I bet they'll look great in their new green pots. I saw those pots at Walmart and set and wished I could get some, but I had to take the back road and use my good old free black pots. That money was spent on my new camera.

Pictures pleasae, once you get them planted in those beautiful pots.

Thanks for sharing your beauties, Mona

Michele, the one I want is the fifth one down, ES-5. Wouldn't you think it has to be a tet? I especially love the double edge with some hints of teeth/tentacles and the eye that looks like it's been painted, then changing to yellow and green. Absolutely love it!

Thanks everyone for your kind comments.

Mona, this is for you, my pot ghetto, or as it's known around here, my garden.

They ran out of the green pots and I had to get some brown ones.

Hi Dot, I somehow managed to miss this post. I love your pots you got from Walmart. If I ever can, I'll buy some pretty pots to put my best daylilies in and then rotate them out the next year for the new best plants!!!

I have been really blessed to get all my pots from a local landscape company. 2 years ago they gave me all that they had saved and I ended up with about 3000 pots. l'm down to about 400 now, so it's about time to ask for more.

Your plants all look so great. Do you have any scapes yet?? I don't know if you saw my post from yesterday but I found 2 scapes on "Santa's LIttle Helper" These were from Maryotts last fall, so I'm sure that's why i've got scapes.

Love all yours and can't wait to see your blooms. Blessings, Mona

Mona,

I only have scapes on a few new ones, Cutting Loose and Dragonfly Dawn had scapes when they came. I just went and checked and Can't Touch This, Pirate Moon and Rio Fiesta have scapes emerging yaaa hooo.

The rest of the garden, no. I only have early season irises blooming now.
