The neighbors' houses would show, but if I can't angle the
photo or crop so as to eliminate the showing of other's houses,
then I take a close up of the plant I am photographing. I just try to
focus on what I want to point out. I see you noticed that.
We did have problems with deer, but not now that everything I
do not want destroyed is enclosed with deer fencing.
I have thoroughly enjoyed viewing yours' and others' garden
photos too.
Thanks Mona for the very nice response. Yep, it is a lot of
work, and it takes years. Gardens are always changing.
We buy a few shrubs, trees, etc., and then layer shrub branches,
have seedlings, bulbs that multiply, whatever method of reproduction
is involved, and set them out and watch them grow. The birds help
with this endeavor as well.
Your garden is absolutely stunning, stunning, stunning. I don't even know which view I like the best, they are all so very pretty. Such lovely, lovely flowering tress and so many. And then all those stunning Azaleas! Wow, you sure do live in a lovely spot.
Bobbie, I am so sorry you lost the pink part of your wisteria. I bet in a few years you will see pink blooms on the growth from the root stock, though. We have a white and purple one that is doing that. A lot of growth goes on underground from these plants.
We are still working on the daylily seedlings. Taking a break from
that for a day or two or three though.
I do love flowering plants of all kinds. Some plants
do better than others here, so we just added more of the
ones that tend to thrive. I think you have been doing that
as well in your gardens.

Shirlee your property is so so very beautiful. All the shrubs and trees with the colors, shapes just make me want tp walk slowly through the whole place and reflect on all the beauty and peace I see there. Kudos for such a stunning garden. Thank you for sharing it.
Thanks so much for that Stephanie. It is really nice when most of the
work is completed, and we can just sit back and watch the gentle
wind swaying through the trees. Just watching this tree movement
creates a sense of calm. I believe the fragrances, colors, and shapes
of nature gives us a feeling of happiness and energy, especially in the spring.

Your clematis is wonderful, are wonderful! all of them!!! But, the dark blue one Rhapsody is a real beauty. I love the way Nellie Mosier clumps up on your arbor. It;s awesome!
Blessings and keep the photos coming. We all love seeing beauty of this caliber. Mona
Clematis does so well here, even with the spring freezes, I do believe
I will order a couple more. I can't believe their blooms withstood 3 nights
below freezing, and they didn't even notice.
Okay, now a few pics of iris. These are old, rather plain compared
to the newer ruffly ones that I just drool over, but they are tough
plants and make nice clumps. This will be the last pictures of
plants that surround what I refer to as the 'garden'. Next up after
the iris will be the garden.
