October is fine with me and I am not sure how many I will be able to get but they will be out of these catagories. THE COMMON ONES ARE $5.76, THE NEW RELEASE ARE $ 6.36, and THE DOUBLES ARE $7.93 and $8.12. Do you know how old these are? Are they blooming size? I am surprised that the NOID seedlings are more than the named ones.

On the Amaryllis it also depends on my finances but I really really really want some of both. Drooling

As far as DG goes like you I am not surprised. Sad to know one or more of the folks who reported you dmail were people who were either your friend Rolling my eyes. or interested in your co-op you had or wanted to have there. Sad

the noid seedlings are 2-3 and 4-5 yo
all the grafted are 9 months old
I was told by the sales person that goes over there every year that they need sun for 5-6 months and you should have a few branches and start blooming once they start blooming they bloom threw most of the summer( warm weather) then they will go dormit if the get cooler weather. I hope I get my seedlings BEFORE this coop is over so i can show what we get.

Hi, Mike,

The purple does look interesting, tho' I don't want one!

I sure wish you'd say the name of the nursery.

Siam Adenium is run by a guy named Choochart, and he's organized a number of large growers. His prices for new releases are astronomical! $60 last time I looked, and a $300 minimum. BUT the information on that website about growing and everything Adenium is amazing. He keeps no secrets!

Adeniums absolutely do not come true from seed, they are too new to being bred. This is why, if you want a specific flower, it must be grafted. The graft scar usually disappears within a year or two. These plants can live 100 years or more.

Come over and join the fun at the Adenium forum (I almost wrote Cubit!!)

I was searching the web and found this site. It is a must see for dreamers like me http://www.siamadenium.com/ Be patient for it to load. There is one double with Black blooms. Drooling
this was posted in the thread already but not only is his prices WAY to hight for our co-op but you need and import photo cert. wich i dont have and i have to pick up from customs or line up shipper from airport to me.

this was a question in the tread also "I am interest in all of the ones you listed but can you explain to me why they are grafted? I noticed on e-bay all of the Thai ones say they are grafted"
and my answer was "marie
to get a true identical plant you cannot raise from seed if there is any other pollen around due to cross pollination. if they cross pollinate the ones grown from seed can look different. So most growers are growing and selling different ones. they take a small one grown from seed. and then take a cutting of the one (like the purple) "mother plants" and graft to the small one grown from seed. then you know its going to grow to look like the mother plant and they know that it will be a purple one or what ever the mother plant looks like."

AND I HAVE BEEN OVER TO Come over and join the fun at the Adenium forum AND JOINED AND FALLOW i ALSO POSTED PICS OF MY ONLY ONE NOT SO SPECIAL! AND THE PURPLE ONE
