great link Debbie... lots of artistically tackled projects there... the alium purples are great... I bet I'd tire of them year round though... the bubbles look particularly in place over the pond.. and the gowns.. dancing about as a sprit being are so striking... lots of sprit [s ] there...

Aren't they great Gordon? Laying here looking out across the fields, I'm thinking a "ballroom" of ballerinas would look awesome dancing through the arboretum. Maybe older ballerinas with white gowns and young ballerinas in pink? I've got way too much time on my hands! Rolling my eyes. Hilarious!

Chicken wire balls, looks like they just shape and cut around a ball and fastened it to an electrical fence post. The bubbles look like something I am doing right now using 100mm (4 inch) plastic fillable clear ornaments. It has the hanger on the ball, all you'ld have to do is put it together with one side up and one side down and then do heavy wire to make the post maybe? not sure on that part.

Great thread!! I'm enjoying all the great ideas. I have an old security door out in back, wanted DH to get rid of it, but now I've changed my mind. I have a great rack for plants that I got at thrift store for around $14 and haven't decided where I'll put it. Would love it in the house, but have no room for it. It folds up too so for now I've got it leaning against the house with a plastic tarp over it. Would love to see those springs too

Also for the bed springs ---- put potted plants in the springs.

Tee, if you don't particularly wish to save the glass from the storm doors then put down some canvas painters tarp, lay the door down, put on goggles & leather gardening/work gloves, get your hammer & break the glass out. Tilt the door back up sans glass & gather the tarp & dispose of the glass. Repeat for the next door.

yikes... for my safety.. I'd prefer to take away the mullions.. bits that hold the glass in place.. and remove the glass intact.. I believe if you broke it out .. you'd have bits still stuck around the edges.. waiting to grab you .. all the years it would sit there as a trellis.. they are made to be removed for glass replacment.. or in this case just removal
there's always a chance to attack it with a hammer if you have trouble removing it..

I submitted a tip to Trish for these a long, long time ago but did not have a photo to go with it. I wonder if these qualify as "public domain"?
