Just wondering if anyone knows this young flowering tree..early awakening this year with the very mild winter.
This one grows behind our house and gets south sunshine. There are also similar trees on the front side but gets lesser sunshine, and is not in bloom nor with leaves yet.

I second Dave with either a Cleveland or a Bradford Pear. The leaves in the fall will turn a gorgeous reddish-purple & they're very shiny / glossy. The tree forms a nice "spade" (like from a deck of cards) shape. I've heard they're not overly winter hardy, but doesn't look like you need to worry about that. I've tried 3 times to get one to grow for me, but they're very sensitive to winter sun burn. Non fruiting. Smells like heaven, seriously. Love this tree.

Hmm I do not remember any smell..maybe because they do not last that long after strong winds.
