Is it one you'd recommend? Does it stay short and stay upright as advertised?

I hope so. I'm thinking of ordering some things online today, and I'm considering adding this plant to my order. I asked on the echinacea cubit too. Smiling

I just looked at it online. It's really a great-looking Coneflower. I'm tempted. I have "Powwow Wild Berry" coming but I might have to consider this one as well. Whistling

Wow, Karen, what a beautiful coneflower. Lovey dubby

I got Kim's Knee Highs on a whim last year. They did stay compact and upright, but the blooms on those raspberry truffles are gorgeous!

I don't have one either. No one has ever recommended it. I took advise off the Cubits Forum and bought the Double Pink Delight, Hot Papaya and Summer Fun. Then just recently I ordered Tiki Torch and Fragrant Dream. Two more which were highly recommended by Clint because they survived the winter. Here for me Powwow Berry, Big Sky Sundown, Secret Day Dream, Secret Passion and Amazing Dream. I had a few that bit the dust and he said they would but I think it was partially because my bed was too damp. I truly believe Red Knee High and Pow Wow white and Secret Joy would have made it. Maui sunshine and Tangerine Dream are said to be duds, and they were for me. Sad
Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Mat.6:28-29

I have Raspberry truffle but was new to me last spring. It is coming up this year so it wintered over. I didn't think the bloom color was that great but I only got just a few. Maybe they will be better this year. It takes awhile for these plants to get growing.
I love Hot Papaya, the color is so intense and It has over wintered here for 2 years.

Clint and Bob will know

I have it and it grew well it's first year . It stays a nice size . And I like the darker colored stems. The color while not my favorite was close to advertised pictures. I will not know about overwintering for a while yet.

I got it last year, as well. Was small, but I loved the blooms. Added two photos to the database if that helps any. Hoping it comes back this year. Echinaceas seem to dislike my yard. Confused

It’s okay to not know all the answers.

Thanks, Debra, and I did see your photos. And I exchanged emails with Bob and Clint about this plant.

Some of the newer echinaceas are so pretty, but some just aren't all that hardy.
