The orange color that you see in my photo is spot on what you would see in my yard. What a difference in blooms! It was purchased from Ashwood Gardens. Always assumed his photo was a little off. Now I wonder whether this is indeed Belief In Vain.
Your daylily has a consistent small yellow edge, whereas Belief in Vein can vary in color, but generally has deeper orange shading along the midribs and a light yellow-orange base color.
