Can't wait to see all your baby photos!!!.. I bought some mixed plugs .. coleus gold lace & 2 noid's

I haven't ordered any new ones yet. I have the originals that I started in fall, plus a more recent tray and half a tray of trailers. I don't even have space for these. One tray is living on my porch. It's certain we'll get cold weather again this spring. That tray will have to survive inside on window light then- I have no space left under lights.

yes I am not putting mine out yet either.. the warm weather has me excited though .. some of the hardier plants I have been hardening off.. figured I can always bring them back in if need be.. the agastache looks very happy out there .. I actually found mealy bugs on one I overwintered.. took it out and gave it a douse of merit.. got the ones I could see with alcohol.. figured the plants in the ground are already active.. and before they find the other plants I wanted it out

now I am a happy girl.. bought some plugs of rustic orange, gay's delight & violet tricolor I was pouting because they didn't have any kingwood carnival yet.. but that's ok

My biggest ones are looking sad. I've let them dry, they've lost leaves, light can't get to bottom of the plant while they're stuffed in trays. Some are getting bare legs. I swear, in January I should start over with cuttings from the plants I start in fall, then I should discard the originals. I have a heck of a time keeping up with the big ones and keeping them looking good.

It's sprinkling rain now but more big storms are due tonight- heavy rain, wind, hail. I'll have to batten down the hatches again tonight. And lows in the 30s again this weekend.

when they loose leaves at the bottom.. I just plant them deeper.. seems to help

??? Allison, these are foot-tall, bushy plants, lots of stems. Main stems in some are THICK. ??? Not sure what you're suggesting?

when they go outside.. if there is exposed stem at the bottom.. I will plant them up to that point .. just going to grow more roots

The temps are dropping. My coleus cuttings are snuggling together in the living room window.

I found a bunch of different ones at a nursery in the Denver, CO area while we were visiting there. Made me drool.

Great looking plants. I have grown Electric Lime and its great and hardy.

I love them all!!!.. and at one point or another had them all too... I love the pink chaos ... mixed it with sunglow pink... has more green in that one.. was a screaming container!!
