Well.. the thread is for public gardens... I guess I take that to be gardens one [ anyone ] might go to and tour/visit... and this one is avaiable to tour as you wish... it's public in that reguard... not public in that it's funded by general public support... although I've suported them with cash donations over the last 30 years which they have used to continue and expand their work... the lovley part is that for my contributions they have sent me boxes upon boxes of some of their great and wonderful plants.. and to go there and tour.. you get to choose the ones with the best form and buds that they have...
Logees is a private nursery.. with many of their greenhouses open to the public.. the green houses along with tables and racks of available plants... have many of their longtime plants planted in the ground in the greenhouse.. it's particularly a great trip in Feburary with it's usual cold temperatures.. and you can wander through the greenhouse gardens to the heat... humidity.. and heavenly scent of everything growing and blooming... perhaps like a cheep domestic trip to Jamacia , Panama or other tropical paradise..
these pictures were taken yesterday...
OH logees has a lovely catalog and internet store.. plants are always strong and healthy... all be it in small 2 1/2 " pots.. but they do grow into great wonderful plants you'll always enjoy...now for the short tour of a few of the plants

Unique.
Agree w/ your assessment of Logee's. They were one of the 1st companies I mail-ordered plants from (couple of decades ago).
Nothing that's been done can ever be changed.

thank you, love it. I know a couple nurseries like that.

Any one else wish to show us your great nurseries? I think that would be great. Just remember that they should also have plants planted in the grown or lovely displays of how to grow their plants.

Gordon I forgot to thank you, both for the tour and bringing Logee's to my attention. I stopped by this July and the greenhouses are very impressive. You might want to bring a walking stick though as level spots in the "floors" are scarce. Of course I walked away with several tropicals.
