That is so funny with the frog peeking out of the birdhouse! Smiling

I am surprised to see tulip blooms. Here the tulips don't even have buds yet. I guess I just have to wait.

Great thread. I am still hovering over green things.I will have Pomponette and Sunlover tulips in about 3 weeks.
We are due for cold weather again. Temps in the 50's hat should slow down the asiatic lilies until we are in the "freeze free period"
I forgot some pix

There are actually several of the early single varieties of tulip open. My folks brought some of them home from Mackinac Island; I think they were originally growing in the gardens of the Grand Hotel. When there's more than two open I'll post a picture. Smiling

Lilies coming up are looking really good. I love lilies and have lots. All the flowers are lovely, especially the daffodils.

Thanks, Rita.

Yesterday I stepped back, heard a crunch and I had squashed an emerging Bleeding Heart plant, I had forgotten about. I sure hope it can recover! Sad

I bought a few bare root last Fall from Easy to Grow late in the season.

Rita, I don't know how this relates between our areas and bloom times, (except that ours is very early this year), but we had no colder than a zone 7 winter this year. My Cardoons survived without cover, and that's not supposed to happen either.

Janice, beautiful! The 5th picture is something I keep trying for, and haven't yet attained...what a full and lovely effect! Hurray!

Susan, your Cherry is beautiful. Mine is blooming now, too. This is our best year ever for tree blossoms, since the buds didn't get hit with a "late" frost.

Here's the Weeping Higan.
