Hetty, my first thought was maybe a variety of Cryptanthus but the more I look at your photo, the more I think your plant may be an Aloe.

Cryptanthus 'Feuerzauber' comes close, but you might struggle to find any more photos of it.

It looks a lot like Orthophytum gurkenii if it's taller and not flatter to the ground, but I can't tell anything about the dimensionality.
