I'll take some pics for you Lynn, The sarmentosum really took over so I have been pulling it out by the hand fulls and replanting different semps and sedums.

The colony of S. album growing on the cement bridge is so beautiful right now. What a tough and wonderful sedum it is.

Not a recent one. The arbor is gone, we lost it winter of 2010/2011 due to heavy ice. I was so sad. We haven't done anything about replacing it.

I'll try to go out today and get a photo from ground level showing the moss and sedum growing on it.

Lynn, I think the S. album is what I have growing between the bricks in my patio. I have several spots of sedums self sowed from last year.
Not the clearest shot.

Charlotte your Oddity should be fine under cover. You are such a good plant mommy. Group hug

Holly that wall is is really coming along nicely. That does look like S. album. I love that sedum. It is prolific and tough as nails. Shallow rooted, so it is easily removed from where you don't want it.
Your last posting, first photo of the long stemmed sedum, is that S. sarmentosum?

Yes it is and it really takes over. I weed it by the hand fulls in the spring after it blooms. Looks very pretty early in the season but it just covers everything.

It is pretty. Is it one that is easy to pull up if it grows where you don't want it?

Little greenhouse? Or are you talking about the covered box in the photo? You want it to have really good air circulation, not like a greenhouse would be.

Holly that one looks like my Sedum kamtschaticum var. floriferum 'Weihenstephaner Gold'. It is one of my favorite sedum. Does your change color in different seasons?

Yes it does I think it was red this spring and greened up as the summer progressed. It's very pretty. I got a bunch of new sedums from Mama Jacks co-op last year.
Here is a pretty good close up. The red stems really show up against the green leaves. This one is getting ready to bloom very soon I'll try to get a good pic of it when it does.

I thought that was it. That is one of those 'Don't want to be without it' semps. It's very pretty when it blooms.
Have you added it to the database?

Bloom stalk

Leaves after heavy rains for several month. Really plumped up and large for this plant. Soon our dry season will arrive, turning this little beauty into a mass tiny red leaves. A beautiful sight to behold.

This is last year during summer, before it turned completely red. I'll try to remember to get a photo at the end of our drought season this year.
