A friend gave me this vine last year but doesn't know what it is.

OH thanks Dave I always wondered what that plant looked like and now I have one.

For some reason -- these are invasive in California, but very well behaved in my north Florida garden (and they don't appear on the Florida invasive plants list). Maybe a difference in the humidity of Florida versus the more dry climate of California??
