Yes, the first one is great.

I didn't know John did Spider / UFs. Those are nice.

It rained here off and on all day yesterday. We got a little work done in between the rains, but we had to keep stopping. Kim had an appointment to go to yesterday afternoon and I was going to stay and keep working, but the sky fell out and I got drenched. I said the heck with it and left with Kim. It probably cleared up after that.
It's starting to rain right now. Teresa (Bluegrassmom) is in town and is supposed to come over before she heads out of town, but the way it's looking that may not happen with the rain because I'll be going home if it storms.

Enjoying seeing all the images of cv's and seedlings. We are stuck in a half frozen limbo up here with temps below freezing at night, 40's during the day. Fred, I'm really liking the patterns you are getting from Lillian's Lying Eyes. Remember some you posted from it last year were very nice too, can you tell me a bit about it, please.

Nice seedling Michele, the George seedling will be a 2013 intro which he says is better than Magic Man. I have it in the display area with the name but will not say what it is until he releases it.

Char LILLIAN'S LYING EYES was registered in 2007 and is a cross of a seedling JT DAVIS X (TET SILOAM RALPH HENRY X TET ULTIMATE PERFECTION) I then put a Larry Grace seedling on that which turned out to a Frank Smith introduction called SUNDAY SANDALS. Larry sold his program to Frank sometime after I got the pollen from him.

It has rained here for the third day now so the photos will have some water drops on them.

WOW Fred, Lillian's Alabama Sunrise is really giving you some great babies. I guess it shows Martin Blondeel with that beautiful eye! That one to me is outstanding especially with it only being 8 months old. I sure hope you keep it. But should you decide not to keep it, I'll be glad to take it off your hands and give it a great home Green Grin!

Nice seedlings Fred

James had a really nice seedling out of VIOLET BECOMES YOU and the photo just didn't capture the purple coloring of it. It was like an amethyst color but the photo showed more of a red purple. I hate that my camera doesn't pick up the colors.

Thank you Fred. So many beautiful seedlings it's hard to pick favorites. Martin Blondeel crosses so nicely with your LAS line. Also like the rich color of the George seeding, ST X JF., very nice.

Martin Blondeel has worked really well with some of my stuff, I kind of went overboard with it three years ago and then used a lot of seedlings from it last year, just a few to many red eyes. Still have not seen a baby dip bloom, but have seen some scapes. The dip UFs are what I want to see the most, they are my favorite daylily form. Took a few photos after the rain yesterday.

Hi, Fred
We are back in KY, just wanted to thank you for such a nice visit. I only wish it had been a bit later in the yr so I could have seen more blooms. You have some beauties!!

Tink, I wish it would have worked out to see you too. Your beds look great, very organized.
