Jake - Climate has a LOT LOT LOT to do with roses & their coloring/scent. Roses that Zuzu has will have a much richer color than me due to my altitude / sun / dryness. I think it's kinda standard that roses have a more richer, vibrant colors in cooler climates than in hotter climates.

My daughter in Tempe AZ was giving me a hard time today because Wichita is hotter than Tempe today. Rolling my eyes. But we'll cool down again tomorrow, and Tempe won't. Sticking tongue out

Smiling she is in the east valley, I'm over in the northwest valley. Funny, several cities all molded into one massive metropolis called Phoenix. Anyhow yeah today was cloudy and the valley is actually expecting isolated thunderstorms tomorrow. So our temps may yet remain cool! Relatively speaking of course as we eventually find anything 90s cool once summer is full swing.

Jake - Sounds like Phoenix is like Denver. There's actually 31 individual cities in the Denver metro, all the way north from Longmont to south in Castle Rock, east to Aurora (we really don't classify Watkins as Denver Metro, but we do classify Brighton, which is actually further?) west to Boulder. 90s sounds WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too hot. Yesterday was luscious.. in the upper 70s/low 80s. No rain, although it looked like it (but didn't smell it). Hoping for rain today.. getting tired of watering all ready!!

Sure does Toni! Ahh the AZ summers, I kid you not, you can be out at 2am some nights and it is still high 80s low 90s. Today has been great so far, a lot of rain, a rarity for us!!! Going to go out and enjoy it.
