Big Grin I guess it is good in a way that I don't have a much larger property. I would be out there adding and planting who knows what else. But I think I have about all I can take care of now already in my garden the size that it is.

Yes, they have been blooming for a long time. Mine didn't last long, the night
freezes did them in. Yours have been a sight to see.

My daffs started Feb 10th. Never have started that early before but they did this year. Really amazing as daffs are still blooming here. A bunch in one area will just about finish off and ones elsewhere will start up. Just an amazing show on those daffs this year.

Yes, they are, but I suspect part of that is because you have bought so many
different kinds with different bloom times. You have a whole early, middle, late
thing going on there. Just as you planned. Isn't it great when plans turn out
so well?

I hadn't actually planned. But I am ordering more daffs for this fall and this time I am looking for extra early to late. I plan on getting FEBRUARY GOLD which might be even earlier than EARLY SENSATION. Plus I am also going for late blooming ones like CAMELOT and PASSIONALE. And ones in between also. So as great as the daff show is this spring, next spring it should be even better!

Am looking forward to that. As good as this is without planning (I'm amazed), next
year will really be something to see. I love seeing so many different varieties, as
you have. Yes, I can look at catalogs, but seeing them in one's garden is so
much better.

I do have the Scheepers Long Trumpet daff mix (planted 200 of them) which has ones from early to late. I am so pleased with that mix that I intend to get more of the Scheepers mixes. They blend them so that you get a long season of bloom as they open from the earliest ones to the latest ones. I intend to add the all white mix, gold medal mixture, the fragrant mixture and the Rinus Rim mix. At 100 apiece that will be 400 daffs right there. Plus 100 February Gold and lots more. So going to be many, many more next year even more than this year.

Rita are your Iris showing anything yet?? Seems like they should be soon the way things are progressing. Love that you have such a beautiful continual display. You work so hard and we all get to enjoy it for months.
