A few years back I *think* a friend called this Indian grass...said he used to chew on it as a kid. I can get better pics if needed...was dodging rain drops Rolling my eyes.

Does look to be rumex. For some reason the second link wouldn't load. Will watch the batch I took pic of to see does it change color. Want to add it right in the DB

Ginger, did you ever get this? It's just like what I have growing. The ones out in the open field with full sun are red but the ones growing in shade tend to be more white looking.
