Ursula, love your very special Den. trantuanii.
SBOE plant I ordered is BC 'Astral Waif'. They agreed that my plant is not that and said they couldn't ID it.
Kathy, what gorgeous blossoms!
Rene, love those tree mounts.

SBOE will do you right, Janice. They are a super great seller. Just ask them to ID the bloom before they send it. They won't charge you for the ones you got. If you really don't like them, you can gift them to Laurel and I, ha, Hilarious!

Speaking of mistakes, there was an epi I bought from ebay but it said Den aggregatum in the title despite the epi pic and description. I received the agregatum and then asked the seller what happened. he sent out this epi and I got it today, no charge. Epi Lake View (not sure this is correct) I also found a pic of my pink and white one with the name Wedding Valley 'Sakurak'. The putative Lake View is more yellow than this but my camera makes it whiter.

We're not too proud to schnorr a little Janice. I say just send them to us and then settle your issue with SBOE. Don't stress about it Hilarious!

Ursula, very cool Den. It's so interesting to see all the different Dens blooming the past month. I wanted a miniatum when I got the curvifolum at Fuchs last year but they were out. Something else to wish for. Nice job, they're not the easiest to grow and bloom.

Lorine, I never tire of seeing those tree orchid photos! Thumbs up

Some mistakes are quite pretty!

Btw. no single quote on the Bc Astral Waif. Yes, that is supposed to have a lip with a yellow patch, yours is nice though.

Rene, they look wonderful!

Totally cross - posted....

Interesting bumpy lip. Yes, Den lindleyi is full on now. I see one of the sheaths greening up and swelling a bit too. Wonder if it will spike later?

It always shoots so golden colored but mine is this pale yellow with an egg yolk in the middle. Just wonderful. I love that combo in my garden, too.

It colors up as the flowers age, Kathy. My color is spot on and I've not tinkered with anything. Give yours a few days. Maybe photo the sequence to compare.
