I just found this and was rather shocked. I know it is supposed to be early, but have never heard of April blooming before.
This was a gift plant and the first year in my garden.

It is 'Prediction'.

Check the bottom of the scape, where the scape comes out of the ground. If it it coming out of the ground, and not out from between the leaves of a fan, it is probably a rebloom scape from last year that did not have the right conditions to develop last year.

I took another photo and it does appear to be emerging from the ground and not the fan.

I always enjoy these scapes. So fun to see such early bloom!

Grrrr...it opened yesterday and I missed it!!

Thankfully there are a few, albeit small, buds on there...so will post those when they bloom.
