Ohh! Please Bree, do tell!!

I had a nice surprise today, my very small Vanda ( Trudelia) cristata managed to produce a single bloom. ( I got a tiny plant 2 years ago from Hoosier Orchids.)

Here is the single bloom, look at those hooks on that lip!!

And now for something totally different, Bulbophyllum falcatum var. falcatum ( Megaclinium section)
This plant is producing a bunch of spikes right now.

a closer look at one of the rachis, the individual blooms are tiny, less than 1 cm

Do they look like they are complaining?

And another one from the same Bulbo section, Bulbophyllum maximum

The funny little blooms open along the shiny rachis.

I think these tiny guys are actually cute?

My second plant of Sedirea japonica opened another spike.

Epidendrum ibaguense is a non-stop bloomer in the greenhouse at work.

Here is Dendrobium Garnet Jewel...it is impossible to get a good pic of this dark one!

Ursula, you have some oddities in your collection! The Encyclia bractescens is really pretty and the Sedirea japonica is lovely!
