I started several seeds almost two weeks ago indoors. All of them EXCEPT the Balloon Flower seeds have germinated.
Is there some special trick to get them to germinate? I am doing them indoors, on a heat mat with lights overhead. I read on the package that the seeds needed light to germinate and 65-70 degree temp.

Could it be they are just bad seeds? Shrug!

It can take up to 3 weeks for Balloon Flower to germinate. They need light, that means the seeds must not be covered with soil.

The balloon flowers that I wintersowed took over 6 weeks to germinate. The balloon flowers and columbines were the slowest in my group.

So it might take even longer in colder zones like here in zone 3!
Thanks for telling us how long it might be.
