You got a fine plant of the Den tuananhii, looks nice. And I like the Leptotes bicolor.
Is that Lc Fire Dance x Brassavola nodosa? The color is lovely. Looking forwards to see it with all spikes open. Thumbs up

Ditto on Ursula. That Den tuananhii is so unusual and I love the color of Lc Fire Dance x Brassavola nodosa!!! Lindsey you made me check my equitants but nothing's happening here. Good growing!
I couldn't pass this up when I went to my most local florist shop. Ryncholaeliacattleya Velvet. Where is it on the floof scale, Ursula?

Thanks, Ursula and Janice!! I couldn't leave it there! The owner of the shop and I chatted for 15 minutes and then I announced I was taking it! Can you believe I own a 50 floof flower? Is that like 50 proof? Hilarious!

Lindsey, I have the first Tol. but not the second or third. I really like that third one Lovey dubby and went looking at every Lowes store in my area. No luck. Well, I can enjoy yours. Thanks for sharing. Smiling

Carol, I used to have beautiful Phals but can't figure out whether they hated being beaten up outdoors last summer or overly refrigerated last fall. I'm finding they'd rather get a bit dry during my absences and stay hot in the orchid room than fare the elements outdoors. They are reviving and thriving. Den. tuananii is gorgeous, BTW.

Kathy, never met an Encyclia I didn't like. That's such a cool Pleuro. and it looks like a nice plant. Picture forthcoming? Does it bloom more than one flower at a time? I'd disown you on the floof thing but we're almost three years into bonding. Orchid tenure prevails Group hug .

Laurel, I hear you on the Phals! They appearantly need intermediate temps, and I can control that better indoors. My healthy ones did ok and bloomed outside last summer though. I recieved a rescue one today that is probably beyond saving. I'm convinced that the medium is (almost) always the problem. As far as the Den. tuananii, thank Ursula! She posted hers and I had to have one.

Ha, ha! Good thing it took me this long to start on floofies! My blooming Pleuro is in trouble. It used to have tons of blooms and nice leaves. Now the leaves are dry and curled and it only blooms a bit. I thought it liked water but guess not. I should do some research before I lose it.

I got my 2 vandas from Susan Snare today. They are great! Young with great roots. One is V. Pat's Delight Blue.
