Btw I cut the bottom part of the plant off, there are about 4 inches missing. But they were a bit dried up and old, so I cropped them out.

That was the plant I got from Andy; and Klaus was amazed to get a follow up phone call from him a few days after I received it.

I know. They are the only nursery that does that! Isn't it sad that good service is shocking these days?

My spring orchid order was shipped today...should be here Wednesday or Thursday. They threw in a Maxillaria tenuifolia for free as a thank-you for my patronage over the years.

So nice!!!

Perhaps it will be in bloom or near bloom. It's time for that orchid. I had one in another life and every time it's posted I'm reminded to replace it.

There was a beautiful specimen in bloom at Marble Branch Farms http://www.marblebranchfarms.c... this past weekend. I saw it across the room and did a nose dive for the flowers. Oh yeah! They didn't have any for sale but it was a reminder to put it on my "to do" list. BTW, I can't say enough about this young company. Those who have known me these past few years have heard me do nothing but whine about the quality of growers in the area.
