In this instance, yep.
What I didn't tell you is that I went out there with a rake to get that red plastic 'thing' outta my wisteria.
I hope the neighbors weren't watching.

Love your tree rose! Glad you didn't yank that "plastic" out of your wisteria. I do think I should have wisteria too. Hurray!

Do you think wisteria will grow there, Pegi?
I can get a start ready and send it to you in the fall. That would be the best time to plant it.

I sure thought that was a red plastic bag or a deflated balloon up there. Went after it with the rake, craziest thing.

Too bad someone didn't get a picture of that. Rolling on the floor laughing Yes, westeria will grow here. Someone gave me a couple of seeds a few years ago and I was too dumb to figure out how to plant them. Of course, didn't think to look it up before I tried to plant it. I always seem to learn my lesson the hard way. Lovey dubby

Remind me in late summer. I'll send you a few rooted vines.
Right now, make yourself a note and I will, too. Surely one of us will remember!!

Sharon, I discovered my friend who cut and permed my hair yesterday has a wisteria growing on a trellis in her front yard. Hurray! I know I can get one to grow here. Her brother did an awesome job on her yard. At least I have some beautiful roses blooming, so happy for now.

Well then, if you want one from Kentucky, you will have it. I'll get a start of it rooting for you this week and by fall it will be well established and ready to ship to you. Yayyyy for your roses! Maybe you can plant your wisteria beside a climbing rose and we'll have matching Wisteria/Rose trees! LOL I'm hoping I left more canes unpruned, maybe I'll have more blooms. Ya think?

Thanks a lot. I do think a Kentucky wisteria would work well here. Hilarious! Note to self, "Wisteria from Sharon in the fall". Now where did I put my post-it notes.......................
