Well! I started with 4 crosses, then found the Jumbo names and now it has it's very own. I wish I could see a pic of Madame Kalaloo just to be sure. Could I have a sibling and be on the wrong track?

The second half of this month still looks great, as evidenced by the many beautiful posts.

Ursula, your NOID Miltoniopsis looks very similar to one I have blooming now, Miltoniopsis Gordon Hoyt 'Dolores' FCC/AOS. This is the first time I have had it bloom and there is only one bloom, but it is very large compared to any other Miltoniopsis I have grown. It too has a few spots it shouldn't have and is a bit distorted, but I can see how it could be an award winner when grown to its full potential.

Ursula, regarding capturing the subtle color changes of Cym. Golden Elf, I think again it is getting them into the proper lighting to make these color changes show up and a close up works much better, and of course I can't find my close up, but this picture does slightly show some of the colored highlights in the veining.

Cymbidium Golden Elf 'Sundust' is in the late stages of blooming right now, but the blooms look like they had been attacked by Thrips, so I didn't even bother to take a picture.
