OH, Cinda!! I forgot to tell you how beautiful your gardens are. I like the furniture and the birdhouses and..... shucks I like everything. The white fence and bird bath is oh-so-cottage-garden!!

To me cottage gardens include a wide variety of perennials, including potted plants placed whereever the owner likes also outdoor furniture and garden ornamental elements like gazing balls etc. Guess you could say for me it is the entire picture of what creates a garden as long as there is plenty of bloom.

My garden never looks that good. I spend most of my time and energy doing other peoples gardens.

I would too. They are "yours". Nice. And nice touch of cobalt blue. Always showy in the garden. Did you make the teapot stack in the vignette?

No I didn't make the glass totems are by the Lady who lives there , they go well with her garden .
It is also a business called The Crystal Tea House

Those are lovely. Would be blown over and broken during the first severe thunderstorm here, but maybe If the bottom piece were to be hollow, I could set it down over rebar or something? Interesting to explore making one or two. Thank you for the photos, Cinda.

These would be nice in a cottage garden, with out the glow in the dark frogs.

You like them? Good include them if you wish, to me they looked a little Halloweenish. Is that even a word? I couldn't picture a cottage garden with glow-in-the-dark frogs, but hey it is a cottage garden, throw it in right?

I really dont see a difference. I like to call mine "random perennial" just because I am a non conformist.

Me too! Can you think of anything unusual that you would put in a cottage perennial garden, something that would break all the rules?
-- I like this huge frog my friend has. A frog is not too unusual but the size of this guy made me gasp.
