I got notified that my lily order has shipped. We are due for unsettled weather, ie rain/snow mix maybe tomorrow.
Perhaps I'll be able to start planting on Saturday. So excited Hurray!

She is substituting Big Brother for Lesotho (Lesotho was substituted for Beverly Hills). Hmmm, not sure about that one. Wish I could have gotten Lesotho. I also wanted Blueberry Crush but seems the grower did not have good stock this year.

Now to figure out the height placement. Blinking

I ordered from Faraway Flowers - Ramona Titus.
Nice pics. Hope mine do as well. This year, I think we are in for a wild weather ride here.

Ramona has a great selection and great bulbs. I think you will be happy, especially once you see them blooming in your gardens this summer Smiling Do come back here with your pictures and how your design turned out. We'll all be happy to see them. Great selections, Julia. 'Big Brother' is also very nice, huge beautiful flowers and nice sturdy stem.

I definitely will share pics when they bloom. You've all been so helpful with my questions. I'm hoping today to look-up all the stats on them so I can place them properly so it doesn't look like a total mess. Rolling my eyes. Now if I can remember what other lilies I have and how they bloomed last year.

My order arrived but looks like the box was used as a football. All the bulbs look fine from just viewing them inside the baggies. I didn't want to open anything till planting day. All nicely labeled and some seem to have sprouted. I've tucked them away till I can get them planted.
I got Garden Affair as a "bonus". BUT, when I went to the ATP database, it doesn't come up. Is there a reason it wouldn't be listed?

I don't know what division Garden Affair belongs in. Ramona described it as a trumpet on her site; another site that sells it calls it an orienpet. It isn't registered so it may take some time to figure it out.

I grew Garden Affair last year and it is lovely. It's very trumpet-like. I actually thought where I purchased it, it was considered a trumpet. It seems like somewhere I read it was a tetraploid as well, but where that was, I can't recall at the moment. Sad

It's a great bonus. You'll enjoy it.
