Thanks Jim! To me the plant in bloom has a certain elegance to it.

Here is a totally new one, Octomeria grandiflora. To get an idea of its size, the diameter of the pot measures 3.5 inches.
The plant came from the final sale of Hoosier Orchids via a nice Christmas present in Dec 2008.

AWWWWW! Sweetie!

BTW, this was a crazy day for me! I went to work only to have my eye dr. tell me to come in immediately because some symptoms I've had sounded like a detached retina! So I flew out of work upsetting the kids and it turned out to be okay-something related to aging. Back to school with dilated pupils for a few last sessions-this is the last week. I'll be glad!
