We have our Garden Show this weekend and I entered a container combo - people choice award. The rule was over 50% edible plant material. Mine is the Tea Thyme and my kid did a micro green pie for the kid's competition.

Hurray! Nice job, both of you. Your child did a lovely job ... how old is she or he?
I garden for the pollinators.

Thanks. Got 3rd!! Wahoo
There's not much blooming here or for sale at this time so there was slim pickings for plant material.

I had stevia in the sugar bowl, nasturtium Dble Delight Cream in the creamer, Peppermint in the tea pot, Chammomile in the tea cup, micro-green amaranthus Hot Biscuits on the plate, strawberry in a jam jar, Nasturtium Milkmaid in the milk bottle and 3 mini roses for flowers. All placed on a mat of thyme.

I dont go to the local "Gardenscape" show anymore. It is held in mid March. Beautiful forced delphiniums and other midsummer plants. The plants part used to be nearly the whole show. Now its full of landscape companies showing hardscape materials and out door rooms.
