I have some Aloe variegata and brevifolia seeds that are very papery. How to I plant these pookies? On top of the medium or just below? Do they have a "tail" so to speak like plumeria seeds that needs to remain up out of the soil?

Tiki, I've never grown them from seeds but maybe someone else here has. I'd like to know as well.

Apparently putting them on top of the medium and sprinkling a little on top works well from the variegatas. I have extras of those if you'd like some to play with.

Forgot to say, I have some seeds from a Tillandsia that I want to try growing as well. Teeny itty bitty. If you drop them, you never find them again.

When I ordered some Tillandsia from a seller online they arrived with seedlings and seeds attached. The seedlings are so tiny and I'm not sure how old these were. They had several sets of leaves. I was using cork bark up until one spray washed them away.
