Here's V. lilacina x Aerides houlletiana again. A nice scent has started too.

My Dichaea neglecta surprised me again today with one bloom. It seems impossible NOT to neglect it so the name is fitting. This one wants to be wet, wet, wet!

Todd, sorry to hear of the damage to the Botanical Garden and alas of the devastation on the eastern part of the Island.

Lindsey, The Oncidium Alliance are some of my favorites.

Kathy, Vanda lilacina x Aerides houlletiana is just peachy and Dichaea neglecta is a cute little one.

Great show Jim, you certainly have a lot plants putting out their best.

And Ursula can always give us a fantastic display. I am partial to your Renanetia Sunrise 'Prasong'.

Bree, beautiful Paphs. You continue to show Jim and I, what they should look like.

Beallara Marfitch 'Unicorn Splendour' is putting on a fantastic display with 4.5 inch blooms on a 40 inch spike

Nice show this morning!
Nothing new here, but I'll post what's blooming.
The first three are the ones I bought last month, in bloom. My favorite so far is Blc. Guanmaiu City 'Black Flower'. a bad shot in the gloom to show the actual color, and then backlit. then Vuyl. fall in love 'Lovely lady' starting to fade. The third is Odcdm. 'tiger brew'
These are in the house so I can enjoy themThumb of 2010-09-23/ctcarol/b8517c

Now we go outside. Gerberara 'snow ballet' is looking good now . Red Epi is always blooming, as is the orange one. Under the tree we have Den. 'yellow song canary,' and Onc. just starting to fade, with Miltonia spectablisThumb of 2010-09-23/ctcarol/27956a

Thanks all!
bree, that is just a LARGE Noid Epiphyllum. I have 8 Epis, not counting Epi. Oxypetalum and a dragon fruit, which I'll never see in bloom, as they are night bloomers, and it's dark out there under the trees.

Ursula, I usually refer to the gerberara as "the weed". It is indestructable, and interesting. Not picky about temp., water, humidity. Only real requirement is lots of light. It usually blooms from early spring to fall, but this year, maybe due to the long winter, it only got a few spikes until recently. And blc. 'black flower' is my favorite! Wish my camera could see what my eye sees. It is such a deep, velvety purple!

If anyone is interested, the Gerberara needs to be divided (again), and there is a nice kiki on the orange epidendrom
that you can have for postage.

Ok, you have one. I think it can be split three ways, so that leave 2 more. I will still have the mother plant plus the one mounted on the lemon tree.

If there is any left over, I'd be interested in a piece of the Gerberara as well.
