Betty: Don't be to quick to give up on Vavoom. It's one of those "slow to get going" roses but worth the wait.
Mine sulked for about 5 months before it ever put out a single leaf. (Bought as a newly planted bare-root in a pulp container)
I know 3 other people who have it and theirs did the same thing for about a year. It takes about 2 years to see it's potential.

My K&M is still dormant. I pray it didn't die. It has no new bloom. There is still some green. It never occurred to me it may take years?
