Some things seem to be developing...

Looking good Janice!
If you don't mind me budding in here?
I would be careful repotting the Lc X now. Those look like brand-new ( irreplaceable) roots and you really don't want to break them right now. ( Have broken a few myself....) If that were my plant, I would wait until next Spring before repotting, especially since the plant looks so clean and healthy.
Oh, THANK YOU, Ursula! I am so happy for your advice.
I will definitely wait to repot then.
I have been misting the roots every few days.
Is that enough?
Once a week I take it to the sink for a good soaking.
I am still uncertain about how wet to get/keep the catts?
ps This is the first catt I got about a year ago.

I would mist the roots lightly every day but water once a week like you are doing. Next time you can repot when the roots are just beginning to grow and it's obvious that it's moving out of the pot. As Ursula said, these are too long and fragile to play with now. You are doing really great for a beginner!! I can tell how happy your plants are!
While we are on this topic...when Janice does repot , would she try to orient the plant so that the roots are more or less going down into the potting
mix? What are the general guidelines?
This looks like a lot of flowers to come on the one stem on this paph Helvetia, can't wait. Its one of the nicer Helvetias ive seen with more twisted side petals than most..
