Are there any future plans for a begonia forum?

Thanks!

I'm curious about this too ... Begonia's are very popular plants! I've just been checking out some of the Rex and Cane type Begonia's in the database:

I would love a Begonia Forum, I remember Cubits having one but that never really took off and there hasn't been any activity since very long.
But sure ATP is the right place where many of us probably would be interested?

There is a very active Yahoo group and I think that is where most of the really serious begonia folks are. The GardenWeb and DG begonia groups don't get much activity either. I'm not sure if it is a good idea to start one here or not. I have a few begonia, but I'm not a rabid collector.

My fear is always a "ghost forum" where there isn't much activity. So it is by far my preference that a new forum is created only after a clear demand for it is established, and I'm not seeing that for begonias so far.

Or for the pretty tuberous and wax types, the shade forum would be appropriate, too, and probably give you input.
I often grow a few of those from seed, which work as annuals here. So I'd only visit a begonia forum in spring since I don't collect or grow the Rex types.

These tuberous and wax types would also draw interest in the annuals forum.

To mention another plant without a forum, the Hibiscuses are temporarily hanging out in the Perennials Forum. I suppose the tropical Hibs could also post in the Tropicals forum.

Rolling my eyes.

Cheryl: TALK! Hilarious! Others will likely gladly join in.

Begonias would fit nicely in several forums: All Things Plants, Shade GArdens... Just pick a spot.

I've been posting away on the Houseplant forum. Many of my "house" plants live outdoors for most of the year. They only become houseplants in the winter. It took me a bit to figure out that my plants outside were houseplants for most. Rolling on the floor laughing
