I love the purple centers



What is this one I'm thinking an early beaded?

I don't know the first one but the second is Iris Pallida aureo variegata. I grow it for the foliage but many people like the blossom.

Jo feel the foliage on one, if it has a rib up the entire foliage it is a Japanese.

its at my GF's but I'm doing a big design job for her and will ask for some.

I agree with Paul on number two. I have a buddy who has this and I am hoping to get a bit of it.

I am almost catatonic.DD said GF with the iris will probably pull out the entire garden and put in landscaping stones. They have 3 West-highland terriers and her husband doesnt want the dogs eating any strange plants. I will be there with shovel and truck.But wait I havnt been asked so I'll wait to be asked.

Good luck on getting plants. Perhaps she doesn't know that you want some.

Lucy.I have already dropped hints. Karen is hard to track down.She works part time and is trying to move small stuff from her house while the construction guy and painter are there. They officially move in about a week.

She wasnt at the house when I visited.I am doing about 30 planters for their deck and needed to see the sizes I would be designing for.

I reeeeallllly hope I get to have a conversation with he before they rip everything out.r.
