Thank you again.
boojum: congratulations on your win. Kew's Habenaria medusae are kept cool to cool intermediate. When in growth feed and water well, then after flowering reduce water to allow the tuberous roots to ripen; very little water untill new roots appear. We find it is best to divide tubers anually or at least biennially. I'm sure you will have no problem keeping this lovely orchid alive, good luck!

Thanks so much Richard! It should be here tomorrow and I'll put it in the cool room. It is not in growth, so I won't water it much. Can you tell me about light conditions there? It's was your pic that hooked me!!

They like good light but not full sun, and I forgot to mention high humidity. We have misting systems at Kew but a tray of water nearby should suffice.
