I had a great afternoon! I went to visit the Amherst Orchid Society and ended up joining and buying a Pleurothallis truncata (pics to come). Met some wonderful experienced growers and told them to come visit us here! I hope they do! I sure wish I had brought my camera. There was a lot of show and tell and some wonderfully grown plants as well as good chow! Next time I'll bring my camera. What was I thinking!!?

Oh Kathy, your photography is really wonderful and your orchids are all so beautiful! Lovey dubby I really love that Laelia canarienses 'Golden Glow'! There's just something about yellow blooms that gets me. Of course next week it will be pink, or red ... or blue ... or ...

*sigh* I just need to live in a Botanical Garden!

Wonderful show, Kathy. I like them all.

Janice, nice group shot. I see they are all comfortably snuggled inside.

I'm still working on my lanai conversion. One contractor is off working up a plan, another admitted he couldn't do the job and a third comes next Monday. It went down to 41 degrees last night but I didn't move anything inside. The rest of the week looks pretty good and it is such a big job for one night of 41 degrees. I hope they all made it.

Hi, Lin. Good to see you here.

Janice, does that mean I have to wait another couple of years for a bloom so I can toast the new year? Perhaps I can drink from a vanda. Smiling
