Thank all of you for the wonderful photos! You've kept me going thru the cold, wet, gloom! We are enjoying spring temps this week, and everyone has spring fever. As it is only mid Jan., it probably won't last, but it's sure nice now. Stay warm ( and for Bree, dry)!

Carol, I love the color of the Bc. Very nice!

Ursula, nice show. My favorite is the Cattleya walkeriana but that vanda is pretty as well.

Kathy, all are nice but the Laelia lundii is special.

I followed Ursula's advise and brought my Angraecum sesquipedale inside to protect it from the cold nights that were slowing down the developing bloom. It worked as you can see. It's back outside now and enjoyed a long morning rain today.

It is in New England but I set one (Wellesley) in full sun outside with the Cyms last summer and it finally spiked. This one came in bud from Ursula. They are big plants with large leaves.

Beautiful Schom. superbiens. I have the undulata sitting there with a 5 foot spike that refuses to open. I've tried stomping and shaking my fist at it but it pays no attention to me.

One of the contractors brought me a set of plans for the converted lanai and it looks great. No dollar numbers yet. I'm getting excited.

Jim, sounds good!! And your Schom will bloom when it is good and ready, so there! Smiling

Lindsey, the good thing about this Schomburgkia is its resistance to bugs. I have never seen one landing on that plant! It wants absolutely high light ( in NJ full sun) and will be very happy plant. I have always grown my plant bare root since I water daily. That's all.

Bree, nice Mini Purple x , but I LOVE the Vanda Miss Joaquim! Lovey dubby Lovey dubby

Nice show, Ursula. I'm especially fond of the Gongora. The flower reminds me of my stanhopeas.

My Laelia anceps is now open, 6 spikes made it. Thumbs up I watered the plant and also spikes/buds daily to prevent them from sticking.

Ursula that is amazing and what a lot of work to water all those buds!!! I have three buds that are so gluey!! It will be a miracle if it blooms! It's a white.
