The ruler is 25 cm long which translates to 10 inches. So you're pretty much right on with your estimate.
I grew up with metric and have been doing the conversions in my head for over 30 years so I am pretty comfortable with it. Smiling

I am confused by this instruction - want to make sure I understand. The subject line of the Tree-Mail should be "Crown of Thorns from Thailand! CO-OP special order just for you By ChefMike!!!"?

Thanks!

Mike,

PLEASE CANCEL THIS ORDER - I'M OUT.

I would like to order these Crown of Thorns:

#3 - $12.00
#5 - $7.00
#18 - $7.00
#19 - $5.50 (Med)
#20 - $12.00
---
Total (not including shipping from you to me)
$43.50
==

I have sent you a Tree-Mail with my mailing address.

Should we send payment via Paypal now or wait until you have a grand total including shipping from you to me? Please let me know - I remember that you said you needed prepayment for this co-op - but I don't want to muck anything up. Just say the word and I'll send the $43.50 now.

Thank you so much for doing this. All of your enormous time and effort is truly appreciated! I can't wait to get these beauties! Hurray!

Carol

In recent co-ops i have to search for a long time for an address to estimate shipping cost. So i decided when you want to BEFORE i total you order on the spread sheet I ask every one to send me a treemail that in subject line co-op address. I have a folder in my tree mail i file all those tree mails into. when i total the spread sheet i can just look there and see where it is shipped to this way i can use USPS calculations for shipping and not just saying well 20,00 or 38,00 I want to be as close to correct as possible with out having to have a 1 or 2 hour hunt for your address. the other reason some like to pay by MO,Check,or paypal with out fees if you do this i have no way of creating a shipping lable when i ship. I go back to the tree mail and wala got your address

NOW EVERYONE you can do as carol has done and send me your order with your address in tree mail form. BUT i want all the orders in the thread also AS CAROL has done. this way i go right down the thread and record on the spread sheet and mark the thread

UP DATED TO HERE
this way i know where to start again and if you watch the spreadsheet (as you should check your order) and i got it incorrectly you can call me out on it. AND it does happen i am not perfect CLOSE Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing but not quite!!

hope this makes it more clear why i do what i do!!!

OH AND BTW Carol is first to order so she wins a prize!!!! and 1st game starts in a few min.

WAIT to pay till I figure shipping from me to you

You do not have to total you own order if you dont want to the spread sheet will do that for us. If you like to that is fine to check that the spreadsheet is not sick that day!!!

I am checking on names!!!!

Mike, you are too funny. The laughs from you alone are worth the price (but please do send me my plants!). This is the most fun I have had in a long time.

Mike, I just had a question about shipping before I order from these co-ops. I will be out of state on vacation from 05/26-06/12. Do you think these will ship and I will receive before I leave? I just don't want to order and have them sit somewhere and I don't have a reliable family member/acquaintance I would trust with these types of plants.

Thanks...Stephanie

Stephanie

the time line is very close. i will be more that glad to plant what ever you order and take care of them till you arrive home. if they do arrive right before you leave i can ship right away BUT they will need to be babied some when they first arrive. the shipping time is 3-7 days after payment is received and CLEARED and my past experience im estimating 5/23 ish for delivery date.

BUT like i said i will take care of your plants till you get back. just let me know!!

That is soooo nice of you to offer. I REALLY hate to ask you to do that with everything on your plate. Let me think about it and I'll get back by the end of the day.

Thanks...Steph
