ok, all the plants carry the virus. I don't think that it spreads. It appears when the conditions are not to its liking. The late Bee Warbuton used to hop on us when our seedlings showed virus & we kept them. 'Romp' is an Australian introduction & it may not have appeared it its climate. Problems usually appear the year after introduction, sigh.

The last one is the correct color, but stem is a bit too short for the size of the flower. I will get it sometime.

Now I have to paste a piece on a stem. Smiling I love the flower on that one. I tried a couple crosses today since we should have rain tomorrow & I lost chances that way last yr.

Oh Doris -- you're in good company with that wish -- why do you think that hybridizers work so feverishly to produce rebloomers? Rolling on the floor laughing

So what do you think the name is of that unusual yellow of yours?

don't worry if iris are not in bloom as yet--such an early yr. Some people's TBs were frozen last wk because they were so early. So will miss the yr. while those still coming will bloom into June.
