Nice show, Ursula. I love the Rhyncholaelia but then that is because it looks so much like a Brassavola, at least to me.

Ursula, I had put Lc Fire Dance 'Patricia' on my wish list last year after you had posted some
amazing photos and I am so excited that this is one of the new plants I've just ordered from H & R..
I hope I can grow mine as beautifully as yours! Lovey dubby Is Barkeria melanocaulon a small plant? Those
are such fairy - like flowers, so pretty and magical!
Neal, the newly opened spot on my wish list is quickly filled with Milmiltonia Norman MacRea 'Ann' and
Odontioda (Taw x Alstir). I'm not exactly sure how the wish lists work..cross one off...add two? Rolling on the floor laughing

That's about it, Lindsey. I finally had to hire a neighbor kid to carry mine.

Lindsey, the Lc Fire Dance 'Patricia' is a very fast grower. You will do more than fine with it!!
It was one of my earlier purchases. I potted it on for some years until I had it in a large wooden tub. And couldn't lift it any longer.
Here it is in 2005
Thumb of 2011-03-08/Ursula/ab5951
It must have been in the Spring of 2005 after it bloomed - I split the plant, threw away about 1/3rd and potted fresh into those wire baskets.
These pictures were taken in 2007.

About the Barkeria melanocaulon - it is a smallish, not particularly pretty plant with lots of long rots and a very long spike.
I took a picture in Jan. 2010; it still looks pretty much the same, except this year's spike came from a new growth. Not all roots made it into the picture.

tiny plant Hilarious! thanks for sharing! How amazing 'Patricia' looks before and after..it's hard to
see that it was even divided. They are beautiful plants, and what great , bold color Lovey dubby

Quiet here too. A big cold front came through last night and it has been raining most of the night and all of this morning. I came straight home from the gym. The good news is I have mom's last tax return finished. Now for mine.

I plan to give up fungus for Lent. Big Grin

You mean 'shrooms? Or orchid rot? It's a good thing I don't celebrate Lent (not sure if "celebrate" is appropriate) or I'd be in big trouble! Ever since I hit the big 6-0, I've been completely out of control.

Lindsey, they both look beautiful and you will surely have a good Tomato crop this year.
Kathy, the Max picta is great. I don't think mine looks like it is going to bloom, although it shows tons of new shoots.
So Jim, what is the deal about "Fungus"? Smiling

I love the Blazing Treat, orange is one of my favorite colors which is good, because the school colors here in TN are orange and you see a lot of it! That mini Phal is so cute!!
