Thanks Bill, I am trying to get out of my comfort zone with Catts and Phals...I've got 6 Paphs now that I've had for a year and they have done
virtually nothing in all that time, so it's really nice to see positive progress!
Speaking of paphs. I have been looking at this riot of Paphs (in front) for a very long time, so I was especially pleased to see a bud......on Lynleigh Koopowitz!! One of my all time favs!
Bulbo. biflorum. Laelia Seagulls Tangerine x L. milleri 'Dr. Koopowitz Red'. Ascda. Laski.
l
New flush on Catt intermedia 'Arrandeam' and Catt. intermedia x Bc. Morning Glory.
Catt. skinneri alba 'Debbie'.
Darwinara Charm 'Reinbow' looks like it might be Benhime (Wisteria Princess-white with lavender lip) or Yuhime (yellow). Definitely not Murasakihime (Purple Princess-solid purple) or Fujihime (Crimson Princess-red). Also Vanda Pachara Delight has a tiny spike forming.
All your Orchids are gorgeous, its makes my small collection (if you can call it that) seem so.....well, small.
I do finally have a few photos to post though!
Phal NOID, the spike is starting to bud plus it has 5 braches coming!
I'm pretty sure this one is Doritae 'Purple Gem' but not 100%.
First is the plant and second is the spike coming!
Don't you love having a place to be excited about spikes?? We have a rule here that I can't show my DBF spikes, only flowers. Of course, sometimes seeing a spike is even more exciting than a flower. Cause it means plant happiness! That's why I made this thread, hehe. Wow, 5 branches is great! Lookin' super, Steven!
