Thread OP

I have been away from this forum for a while now.I had a stay in hospital followed by recuperation in Cornwall. Then disaster struck; my computer gave up the ghost taking the last 2 years of pictures from Kew with it. We had a month without a computer which was interesting. The first week I was lost but soon got used to it. It was a reminder of the old days without them; remember those?.Here are some pictures of the latest orchid in bloom at Kew. I'm trying not to think of the pictures I have lost and, no I hadn't backed them up, some things you have to learn the hard way!

Sorry to hear about your computer woes(as I back up my pictures). Nice pics to start a new album. The Angraecum eichlerianum is a really interesting looking flower.

As always, your pics fill me with joy. Hope you are well now. We have all lost pics by not backing up. I now have an external drive and an online backup. I assume you can download all your posted pics from Kew on this cubit.

Beautiful photos! So sorry to hear of your computer woes. Don't toss it out, someone might be able to retrieve the photos someday. I was told all my photos and everything was lost after I spilled a glass of grape juice over my laptop keyboard, but a new motherboard ($$$, ouch) and everything was back.
