Anyone have experience with this plant. I saw it today and want to add it. I love the foliage and flowers. Is it a rampant thug in the garden or behaved?

I'v never had the plant just seen viola in lawns and people say they regret planting it. Over on DG there was a gal that posted three pitures in the plant base. She is still a member maybe D-mail her? It sure is pretty.

I would think from pictures on North Creek Nursery that it would be quite a spreader.

aren't Violas in general spreaders? I even had ones jump over(or crawled under????) the pound in edging and now have them growing in the lawn

I planted two. I like it. If it spreads too much, I'll rip it out. LOL.

Sounds like a pretty little plant, let us know how it does. Hopefully it won't mind the heat. It is listed as zone 5-8 just like Brunnera Jack Frost.

It is doing great so far. Much better than Jack Frost. It has a similar color and texture. If it does well it could be a great substitute for that plant.

I started watering JackFrost every day. It looks better. I think it does love water.
