I ordered *Moonlit Water* last year, but they had too few increases. Think I got *Prague* instead. Which didn't bloom this year. Thumbs down

Nice Irises, Tom. I've never had any volunteers. I always break off the seed pods -- maybe I'll allow one or two to grow and harvest the seeds. This morning I learned how to pollinate, selecting the pairs to mate. Whistling

Thanks, I received Recless Abandon as a gift iris from Keith Keppel, probably wouldn't have ordered it, but I sure do like it better then a picture can capture. I had Regal Nave imported from Australia, and it's the first time it's bloomed.

Pictures just give a peak, you really have to see the real flower.

finally looks like the rain is over--now I hear that it comes again on Tues. Difficult to work with irises at this time & weather.

Just had to throw this picture in, Meet RJ (Richie Junior) checking out the irises. You can read about him in the farming section under Turkeys if you want, and see him and his daddy. He's kind of bored right now, as he's waiting for his GF to hatch her eggs.

Maryann, He's a "Royal Palm" turkey, one of the heritage breeds. Although he looks big, they are really smaller then most of the other breeds. He's really friendly, and Lucy, he brings sunshine into my life, so I don't think he's the reason for bad weather. lol. Aruba, that's a clump of Mexican Holiday, slated to be moved this summer to make room for a newer variety near the house. I'll keep some, just not near the house. It's always one of the first to bloom each spring. It might be later farther from the house.

For years I wanted some of the minor (heritage) breeds of animals when I had a farm in Poynette. But alas, it never happened, and I no longer own a farm. So thanks for posting that photo of your turkey. Very cool.

LOVE that Reckless Abandon and also your Blythe Regal Nave. Both are gorgeous. Of course, the others are beautiful too, but those two really jumped out at me ~Jan

I should have waited a while to take the pictures, as both Reckless Abandon and Regal Nave have relaxed some, and have more ruffles today. Well they did before this storm hit, not sure what the hail may have done to them. I'm afraid to go look, lol. I'm waiting on Expect Wonders to open today.
RJ the turkey has quite a story, if you care to read it on the Farming section under raising turkeys.

He is a handsome fella. Our neighbors have some chickens that are really different. Fluffy all over. All we have is wild turkeys, but as Dee said, so fun to watch. Especially when they have little ones stirring up the dust.

Keep me in mind for some of that Regal Nave, it is so very pretty.

Sorry you got hit with hail, hope it didn't do too much damage. Lucky me, the recent hail storms have been all around me, but have skipped over my area ~Jan

The hail didn't amount to much, but it sure is wet here now. I have a bunch of new blooms today, but can't seem to get them uploaded now. Maybe later.
