It is pretty Lynn. And it has a lovely fragrance too! My dh took 1 look at it & remarked that he bet it smells good & he was right. Many of the pawpaw have a rancid scent but not this.

So that is a Paw Paw seedling? I've never seen one before.
Well, I've never seen a Paw Paw tree in any form before. Rolling on the floor laughing

Didn't know they had such lovely blooms.

There are many different pawpaw's. This one is only a shrub. Gets max. 4'. There is precious little info. about this particular one. It is native to Fl., so, Ga., & rarely so. Al. Well, here; this is the info. on it. I had to hunt high & low to get the info.

Slimleaf Pawpaw (Asimina longifolia)

It is a pretty shrub. I like it & am going to harvest seeds when they ripen. I'm toying with the idea of trying to transplant one but it may be too late as they are all getting pretty good size.

The info. says they do Charleen. All of ours are growing in the open field in the everlasting hot sun. There are other shrub pawpaw's which look quite similar & they may grow in more conditions. You may have one of these or one of the ones which are similar. One in particular has the same color flower but the petals are much more rounded in shape particularly on the end. See?:

And this describes the difference between the two.

In that first link; if you scroll down it has a list of the pawpaws & if you click on each one it will take you to that pawpaw.

Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Funny that for basically a non drinker; when I do it's usually in the morning. Hilarious! Must be sumpin wrong with me. Whistling

YEAH, you got to go. Hurray! Hurray!
Might be the one glass of wine is less harmful to the body as pain meds would be?
Just as long as you don't over do things. Thumbs up
