I have them as well and dont know, do they get a yellow flower? Can they survive just about anything short of radiation, if so they are the same as mine, and I would like to know too

I'm in zone 23, sub-tropical S. California and this was given to me about 15 years ago...in truth, didn't care much for it and it was planted 'out', I mean 'OUT, on the other side of an acre or so, beneath eucalyptus trees, never gets watered, only seasonal rain, which here, is not much. I've recently started appreciating succulents and am digging them up. Do they flower? I don't know since I'm never down there to look at them, but there are more than the 'one' I was given, so I'm assuming they do. They have seeded. They look to be sedum reflexum though I'm not sure since they are woody and stout......
In any case, I've decided after all these years that I now like them....lol...

I was out and hitting some nurseries today and now I can say that, yes, this plant does indeed get small rather insignificant yellow flowers. I can also tell you that it's selling for $11 a gallon and useful as an upright in a mixed planter combo. Still no name....the first nursery is a really good nursery with a large succulents section and they had no name on it. Another nursery had it in a pot with 'crassula' written on the side...another nursery had it potted with a generic 'succulent' label. I'm getting the feeling that an awful lot of succulents are unlabeled....?

Sherry it is such an interesting plant. I wonder what happens with it if grown in full sun?
Do you have a photo of the bloom?

Mine grow in part shade beneath eucalyptus trees and are not flowering right now. The ones in the nursery were flowering. I'm digging and potting mine now and they'll get more sun once moved.

I think after being there for years, they've reached full size...they've flowered at some points since they've spread. At least they will be up here by the house where I will notice when they flower...lol..

They may not grow as tall and lanky with more sun. It will be interesting to watch what happens with the change.

Well.....turns out that mine are flowering....lol..
I had to take a hike down to the back for more pots and happened to look over...and, yes, there are flowers. They look like this and this is a pic of the 'colony' after one being put into the ground rather rudely and left to fend for itself for a lot of years......

Could this poor plant have POSSIBLY felt more unloved?...and yet survived, taking care of itself....lol..

Some of my plants, such as sedum, do better when I mostly ignore them.
