I found this plant growing below a tree I cut down. It's in ottawa couty michigan.

Obviously it's one I can't ID and hence I turn to the almighty powerful all things plants Thumbs up

This looks like Hesperis matronalis, or Dame's Rocket. Once it opens up, check to see if it has a four-petaled bloom.

That's interesting; this is one plant our cottontails leave undamaged, at least from what I've noticed.

Yep, I"ve been feeding it to the rabbits with dandelions/forsythia/other plants. The little ones seem to like the flowers of the rocket.

Today I saw two wild cottontails jump up in the air. It was funny. I don't know if they would do that to get the rocket plant though ;) I just have some new zealand rabbits.
